Selling online in the EU? The Accessibility Act already applies.
Since 28 June 2025 the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) covers many e-commerce sites, banking, e-books and transport booking services. The practical benchmark is EN 301 549, which follows WCAG 2.1 AA. Microenterprises providing services (under 10 staff and ≤ €2M turnover) are exempt.

What automated scans can and cannot tell you
Automated tools find a subset of WCAG failures (missing alt text, contrast, form labels, language, names of links and buttons). Keyboard use, focus order, captions and error handling need a human. Our USD 97 audit includes that manual pass on your money pages. It is a practical audit, not a certification or legal advice.
Also useful for US public entities preparing for ADA Title II (WCAG 2.1 AA).
